A glimpse of the participation of researchers and engineers from the Hydraulics Research Institute and African trainees involved in the first training course currently being organized at the institute under the title “Hydraulic Models and Their Applications in River Management” during the events of the eighth edition of Cairo Water Week 2025. The trainees shared their diverse experiences in discussions during the technical sessions related to the Joint Cooperation for Applied Research (JCAR) project, which is one of the prominent international cooperation projects in the field of water resource development and management. The session was honored by the participation of the Honorable Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, Professor Dr. [Hani Sewialm], and Professor Dr. [Sherif Mohamdy], the President of the National Water Research Center, along with a group of researchers from the National Water Research Center and the Dutch side.
