Implementing training activities related to the study of “Improving Water Distribution in Egypt by Enhancing Water Management in Irrigation Canals”
According to the directives of Prof. Sherif Mohamady, President of the National Water Research Center, and within the framework of the Hydraulic Research Institute’s participation in implementing training activities related to the study of “Improving Water Distribution in Egypt by Enhancing Water Management in Irrigation Canals,” Engineer Khaled Mohamed, from the survey department at the Hydraulic Research Institute, lead the training of a number of engineers working at the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation on measuring water flow discharge on using the ADCP device. The training included a presentation on the various measurement methods for water flows discharge, followed by practical training on measurements in the Nile river. Afterwards, participants received training on data processing and analysis.
