Training and Staff Development

The Mechanical and Electrical Research Institute is committed to continuous training and capacity building for engineers and technical staff. The Institute delivers specialized courses in renewable energy, with a strong focus on photovoltaic system design and applications, as well as power quality analysis and improvement. In the mechanical engineering field, MERI provides training in vibration measurement and analysis for pumping systems, hydraulic performance assessment and enhancement of water pumping station in addition to the applications of artificial intelligence in improving the performance of water systems.
